Clothes can tell a lot about person. Some people like very colorful clothes because they want everyone to look at them and they want to be the center of things. Others like to wear nice clothes, but their clothes are not colorful or fancy. They do not like people to look at them. Clothes today are very different from the clothes of the 1800s. One difference is the way they look. For example, in 1800s, all women wore dress. The dresses all had long skirts. But today, women do not wear dresses with long skirts. Sometimes they wear short skirts. Sometimes they wear pants. Another difference between 1800s and today is the cloth. In the 1800s, clothes were made only from natural kinds of cloth. They were made from cotton, wool, silk. But today, there are many kinds of man-made cloth. A lot of clothes are now made from nylon, rayon or polyester.

Because they want everyone to look at them and they want to be the center of things.

Natural disasters seem to appear more and more on the news. Never before have so many victims of such natural disasters. According to a report from a center in Belgium that studies disease outbreaks (Center for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters), only in 2010 there were 373 natural disasters and at least 296,000 people were killed. People often call these natural disasters "actions of God", but it is wrong. God is not behind the catastrophe, which damages so many people today. However, the Bible foretold that there would be a disaster in our time. For example, in Matthew 24: 7, 8, Jesus said the following: “This people will beat the other people and this country will attack the country; from place to place there is hunger and earthquakes. All these are the beginning of misery. ” Why did Jesus foretell these events? And what do they mean to us?
