Lan has been my best friend for 5 years, since we were little girls in grade 3. Lan is not tall. In fact she is rather short and small but she looks so lovely. she has an oval face, short curly hair. Her eyes are round and her mouth is large with pretty smile. Lan is not only beautiful, friendly but also a good student . She has a sense of humour,too. Whenever I am sad, she always cheers me up with her nice advice and funny stories Playing with her is interesting because it seems that, for her, every difficulty is easy to deal with. whenever I have a dificulty in life or in study, she always tries to help. Lan enjoys socializing with other students of her age, So she has a lot of good friends.

my best friend in high school is Phuong.Phuong sits next to me in class,eats with me at break time,and hangs out with me after school.She has long and beautiful hair ,my mother alway says that i need to pay more attention to my hair so it can be pretty as hers.I am good at English while Phuong is excellent in Math therefore we can help each other very time one of us has trouble in understanding those subjects.Besides our study,Phuong is alway by my side whenerver i feel upset.I tel her everything ,and only her can know my true feelings .We have been best friend since our young age,and i will keep this friendship forever.

I and Hung are team mates in our school’s soccer team, and that is the reason we became best friends. At first we did not know each other, but we quickly became close after just a few weeks. Hung is a good player, so he always helps me prace to improve my skills. In order to thank him, I become his instructor in some of the subjects in class. I am as tall and slim as Hung, and many people say that we look brothers. In fact, we are even closer than brothers. We can share almost everything, from feelings to clothes and hobbies. I was born and grown up on the poor land in Duc Tho district, Ha Tinh province. That’s where deeply attaches to me 24 years of life. If anyone who asks me that “What’s the thing your most proud of?” .I will answer that’s my hometown. Duc Tho is the land poor where the people live by rice cultivation, breeding, and fishing. Although the life is very difficult, but the people is very friendly, and studious. In Duc Tho, there is a Tung Anh village where called “Doctor village”. Duc Tho is also the home of Tran Phu Secretary General, and marked many memories of the great leader Ho Chi Minh.
If you come to Duc Tho, you will feel many interesting things, visiting Tran Phu tombstone, La Giang dyke, rowing on La driver, and enjoying the traditional songs. In the evening, they can enjoy a special food which is “mussel rice” – just only eat one time, you will never forget.
Beautiful and unobtrusive! Duc Tho always tries to grow, and to improve the life of people, but keeping the traditional culture.
My parents’ hometown is Long An, but I was born and raised up in Ho Chi Minh City. People usually call it Saigon, and it is the biggest city of Vietnam. It has a lot of fascinating buildings and constructions since it is a modern and developing city. What I love about Saigon is that all the new and old things are perfectly harmonized. Behind the skyscrapers are the small alleys which contain a slower lifestyle and traditional values. My friends and I have a lot of places to go in our free time such as Nguyen Hue walking street, Tao Dan Park, Dam Sen Water Park, Suoi Tien theme park, and many other places which tourists usually visit. Besides the view, it can be said that Saigon is one of the food heaven that people should not miss when they come to Vietnam. We can find almost all kind of Vietnamese cuisine here, and we can enjoy featuring foods on floating restaurants on Saigon River. I love Saigon a lot, because both the people and the city itself are nice to me and whoever wants to visit it.

Ở đây chúng ta có thể tìm thấy hầu hết mọi loại ẩm thực Việt Nam, và chúng ta có thể thưởng thức những món ăn đặc trưng trên các nhà hàng nổi trên sông Sài Gòn. My mother is a teacher, and her name is Thanh. She is 40 years old. She is tall and slim, and she has bright skin with long black hair. She is a very nice and friendly person. Her students always give her compliments, and they love to study with her. Every day, she wakes up at 6 o’clock to cook breakfast for me, and then she goes to school. She teaches Math at a secondary school, and she is a very good teacher. She comes back home at 5 o’clock in the afternoon, and I help her to make dinner. Her hobbies are reading books, listening to music, and doing shopping. At the weekend, she usually goes to the mall to buy something she s, and I really enjoy going with her. She is a good mother who always takes care of the family, and I love her so much.
My mother is a person I admire most. She devoted a lot of time and energy to the upbringing of my two brothers and I. Despite working hard, she always made time to teach us many useful things which are necessary and important in our later lives. Moreover, she is a good role model for me to follow. She always tries to get on well with people who live next door and help everyone when they are in difficulties, so most of them respect and love her. I admire and look up to my mother because she not only brings me up well but also stands by me and gives some help if necessary. For example, when I encounter some difficulties, she will give me some precious advice to help me solve those problems. She has a major influence on me and I hope that I will inherit some of her traits.

She has a notebook which contains her short stories as well as her paintings, but she does not allow anyone to touch it even that it is me. Her dream is to be a fashion designer or an author because she is a very creative girl who always gets a lot of ideas in her mind. Whatever her future path is, I am always by her side and support my lovely little sister.
