Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam is the richest and richest relic complex of Hanoi, located in the south of Thang Long citadel. Vietnam. Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam area has brick wall surrounding, inside divided into 5 layers of space with different architectures. Each layer of space is limited by brick walls with three doors to communicate with each other (center door and two side doors on both sides). From the outside into the ports are: Van Mieu, Dai Trung, Dai Thanh and Thai Thai gates. With over 700 years of operation, thousands of talented people have been trained in the country. Now, Van Mieu-Quoc Tu Giam is a place to visit domestic and foreign tourists as well as a place of commendation for excellent students and also the place of annual poetry festival on the first full moon day. In particular, this is also the place where today's artists go to "sew" before each exam.

This is also where local authorities choose to honor outstanding students in Hanoi nowadays, like those with top entrance results to university or top graduation outcomes. The last and also furthest courtyard is Thai Hoc house, which used to be Quoc Tu Giam - the first university of Vietnam.

After more than 900 years of existence, the Temple of Literature is an example of well-preserved traditional Vietnamese architecture. Along the pass are 100-year-old trees that have witnessed the ups and downs of history.
