Các từ có tận cùng là ese, ee trọng âm rơi vào trước âm chứa nó

Các từ ful và less là hậu tố nên khi thêm vẫn giữ nguyên trọng âm

+ Các tiền tố (prefix) un, im không bao giờ mang trọng âm, mà thường nhấn mạnh ở từ thứ 2 (từ gốc)

+) Các từ kết thúc = ic, logy, graphy, ity nhấn vào âm ngay trước nó (thứ 2 từ cuối lên).

Kết thúc = al, ive đánh vào âm đầu nếu có 2 âm tiết, đánh vào âm thứ 3 từ dưới lên nếu có từ 3 âm tiết trở lên.

Kết thúc= ese, ee đánh vào chính nó.

Còn ful, less có rất nhiều trường hợp, phải đưa ra trường hợp nhất định mới được nha !

+) Bắt đầu bằng un, im: các từ này là tiền tố, khi thêm vào từ gốc thì trọng âm vẫn được giữ nguyên như trọng âm của từ gốc. Ví dụ như từ un'happy ý.
