=\(\dfrac{1}{2}\) - \(\dfrac{1}{4}\) + \(\dfrac{1}{4}\) - \(\dfrac{1}{6}\) + \(\dfrac{1}{6}\) - \(\dfrac{1}{8}\) + ... + \(\dfrac{1}{98}\) - \(\dfrac{1}{100}\)

= \(\dfrac{1}{2}\) - \(\dfrac{1}{100}\) = \(\dfrac{49}{100}\).
