- As the proverb says, "You have a father like a house with a roof." That statement shows the importance and position of a father in the family. For me, my dad's image is always in my mind.

My father is over 40 years old. Dad is a police soldier. It makes me very proud and proud. Dad often had to go on duty and on duty. Dad has a face full of letters, serious eyes. On hot days, Dad came home from work, his face was flushed red, sweat was all over his face and a whole piece of his shirt was wet. I understand that he had to stand guard in the hot sun, so he loved him even more.

Tanned skin, healthy. Even at work-free evenings, Dad sat down to think about the agency's documents. At that time, his father's face was thoughtful, his eyes bright, his bushy eyebrows narrowed. His hair was dotted with silver threads. I know that my father has to take care of work in an office which is hard and difficult, especially very dangerous but he always tries to get the best work done.

Every time he went to work, he often wore his military uniform and his police hat looked very stately. Late at night, a phone call comes in, because the mission is to get up and rush to the road regardless of the weather. My father is not only a brave soldier at the office but also a person who keeps the neighborhoods and also the breadwinner in the family. Although he is busy at work, he does not forget to take care of housework and love his children wholeheartedly.

Dad always checked, mentored the education of sisters. Dad is also very strict in teaching children. However, sometimes Dad is very funny and humorous. Occasionally, Dad would tell jokes to the two sisters who made them laugh out loud. For neighbors, what is the father is always willing to help. Everyone respected and loved their father.

I love my father very much and I am very proud that he is a police soldier because of his homelessness and service. Dad is a strong fulcrum for my family, like the song: "I will make wings for the birds, for you to fly far away."

This week’s documentary in the Extraordinary People series is about Stephen Wiltshire. In the programme, we see Stephen’s panoramic drawing of the centre of London. It’s four meters long, and it’s remarkable. All the building are in the right place. And every detail is correct. The number of floors in the tall building is correct, too. But the most incredible about the drawing is that Stephen drew it from memory, without photos or notes.

Stephen’s story is remarkable, too. When he was three, doctors discovered that he was autistic. He couldn’t speak, and he was often frustrated and angry. His parents saw that he was only happy with a pencil in his hand. His talent became obvious at the age of six when he drew a picture of Selfridges, the famous department store.

At his school for special needs children, they used his love of drawing to help him speak. His teacher took away his paper. ‘Paper!’ he shouted. It was his first word.

Once there is a boy lived with his mother. They were very poor and had only a bit of land to make a living by growing grain.
One day, the mother went to the market as usual. She asked if the boy want anything. The boy's eyes went wide with delight. He said: "More than anything else, I want a drum!"

But the left over money after the mother bought necessities wasn't enough to buy a drum. The boy wanted a drum so badly, but there was nothing she could do. However, on the way back home, his mother found a fine stick. It was still better than nothing, right? She was smiling badly while she was handing the gift to her son. The boy decided to not disappointed. Instead of that, he thanks his mother, tapped, slapped, banged on every object with his new stick.

Then he saw his neighbor trying to light her smoked stove. Her eyes watered and she coughed so much. The boy, without hesitation, gave the stick to his neighbor. "Here Auntie, use my stick to heat your stove"- he said. When the stove was OK and hot perfectly, she baked him a soft, round roti, a traditional Indian cake.

The boy was looking for a shade place to ẹnjoy the roti when he heard a baby crying. The baby was hungry but her mother had no food. The boy immediately told the mother to feed her baby his roti. The baby ate the warm, delicious cake. The woman insisted the boy to take a large, metal jug as her gratefulness. What a gift! It dinged like a real drum!

He almost didn't saw someone was groaning from a roadside ditch. An old man wearing torn clothes was laying in the dust. The boy ran as quickly as he could to fill the jug with water. The man drink water from the jug and told his story: "I am a trader, but robbers stole my goods." He just had 2 horses, and they were standing by a tree. The boy also gave water to them. He offered that the trader could took his jug to trade. The old man was thankful so he urge the boy to take one of his horse. "It was a rich gift!" the boy thought.

The boy climbed on the horse and rode happily down the streets. He crossed a group of man sitting under a tree. They were beautifully dressed, unfortunately they looked miserable. The boy asked if there is a problem. One young man said: "I'm going to my wedding, where this band will perform. But if I show up on foot, my bride will laugh at me" The boy hopped off the horse and handed the reins to the groom. He thought that he had a whole life without a horse. The young man needed it more than he did! The musicians leaped up and sang. A singer stopped to thank the boy for his kindness. In exchange, he deserved a beautiful drum.

The boy shouted with joy. He tapped the drum the whole way home. His mother came out to see what the noise was. The boy told her about the story of the stick, a roti, a jug, a horse and a drum.

My friend Sam’s birthday was last Saturday. He was twelve. We had a party for him, but we didn’t tell him we were going to have the party. On Saturday morning, Sam’s parents took him to breakfast at a restaurant. His cousin William has a key to his house, so we all went to the house to get ready.

First, everyone put the presents that they brought for Sam on the table in the dining room. Then, we move all the sofas and chairs in the living room so we       would have enough space to dance. We wrote “Happy birthday, Sam!” on a piece of paper and we colored it gold. We put the paper on the wall. One of Sam’s friends brought some games for everyone to play and we put them in the living room too.

Next , we needed to make a cake for Sam. The kitchen was very hot when the cooker was on, so we opened the window. The cake smelled good and we wanted  Sam to come home so we could eat it. We also made a pizza for lunch and some of Sam’s friends brought milk and juice to drink.

Soon we heard a car outside the house. We turned off the lights and hid behind the sofas and chairs. But when Sam came in, he laughed. “I know you’re here”, he said. We all jumped up. “Why aren’t you surprised?” we asked. “Because the window is open and I could smell the cake from outside” he told us. “Thanks, everyone. Let’s eat!”

Mai An Tiem was an adopted son of 17th King Hung. He was talented and that was why he was highly considered by people and received many favors from the king. Once he said " Present means worry, gift means dept" and that provoked his father's anger. In spite of many pieces of advice from the whole court officials, there was an order that An Tiem and his family had to be deported to an isolated island in the far, far ocean without any belongings.
Fade came to those unlucky people. An Tiem's family was left in the island with nothing but a blunt sword, a clay pot and food that was only enough for them in five days. The wife sunk in sorrows and sobbed while the husband were releasing her and manly declared that they could make everything by their hands.
Life in remove place was so hard that both young and adult in the unfortunate family had to catch fish, oyster and also wild greens to remain life. Later the fruit was out of the season, fish in the sea could not be caught without net, bird was watchful over the trap. What they owned at this time was just some wild greens cultivated by the husband.
One early morning, An Tiem heard the sounds of birds in a distance then he just walked out to see the scene but the birds were frighten and flew high above in confusion and left a small piece of melon with bright red pulp and black tiny seeds. " It was absolutely good for birds. It must be the same for Man" he thought " Why don't I do something with those tiny seeds?" Its fresh and sweet taste seemed to make him believe that his decision was right. With a blunt sword he ploughed a small piece of land and sowed it with the seeds.
Time passed by; the man now was look happy and hopeful when travelling his eyes over the verdant and luxuriant plants sprawling on the sand. All people in the family looked for the coming day that their lianas bear fruit and the fruit got bigger and bigger... One morning the family was woke by the sounds of bird. An Tiem came out into the sand and found one of the melon was half-eaten and showing the bright red color of its pulp. He brought it home then and cut a small piece to each person in the family. The melon taste was so good that everyone d it but the rest of it was only consumed at noon when they felt that what they had eaten in the morning was unharmful to them.
Thank to this kind of fruit, life in the island now was much better. Melon was cultivated, harvested season by season. Every time An Tiem himself also dropped some fruits with his name curved over their skin into the ocean for the desire of sharing the happiness and looking for a way to the mainland.
Later there were some merchants who got into the island and asked for exchanging tools as well as food for the kind of fruit they had picked up in the sea.
Hung king somewhat felt regretful that he had put his son a death until the day he was offered a melon and broken the news that An Tiem and his family weren't only alive but also cultivated a precious melon in the island. After that a favor was granted to bring An Tiem and his family back to the court as an honor to the country.
From that time on this kind of fruit - Watermelon - was commonly planted but it was said that those melons from Nga Son Island where An Tiem first cultivated it were the best ones.

determined through the capacity and moral qualities of women over time. From time immemorial, my father drew four words to the woman Vietnamese women "public, content, language, happiness".
Experiencing the history and general development of the world and Asian countries, moral standards as well as the concept of beauty in general and the beauty of women in particular also changes from time to time, each generation. The standard of women today has a bit of change to adapt more with practice, more in line with the development of society as well as the trend of integration with the whole world, with the pace of modernization. However, the
development and standards of Vietnamese women are always associated with the old substance, which is evident in the inheritance: faithful, generous, guaranteed, speechless. In ancient times, the part of women in feudal society was a topic chosen by many poets and writers. Through those That work, the woman shows up with beautiful images, along with the beautiful personality, but fate always depends on others. But we see, no matter how difficult the woman is, they always shine up noble personality, sacrifice, love, optimism, faith in fresh light of life. Although the self-contained woman is so, weak before binding
That's it, but "the enemy came home, the women also beat".
During the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans, the woman appeared and fought a heroic sacrifice such as: Mac Thi Buoi, Vo Thi Sau, Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Nguyen Thi Chien, Nguyen Thi Hang, Vo Thi Thang, Tran Thi Ly, Ut Tich, Mom Tu, Nguyen Thi Dinh and Nguyen Thi Binh, etc. They are determined to fight the enemy to the end, determined not to foreign invaders to steal home, rob of ... In any field, stage Any history we encounter is the name of a famous woman, national glorious. The whole world they honor women .. That beauty always shows present through ideals and life, wisdom and soul. In other words, it is a harmonious beauty between form and content. Today is not yet already out of prejudice, even stigma, but comprehensive in terms of both quantity and quality, contributions preserved and promoted Good role for social development practices in all areas. From taking on the domestic role "in the family, women today are important Foreign affairs, this is not just a career for men. They affirm the value, the ability to career and the rise. Aspiration not only As simple as escaping from the family framework, moreover, they affirmed their position as the leaders of corporations and companies. Corporate companies, even leaders in organizations in the government apparatus. In short, no matter what time, women always play an important role in life and work. Besides preserving products Traditional substance from thousands of ancient times, women today must always strive to become a good citizen, dream, living with ambition, living social and community responsibility. These are very basic elements, the original elements of Vietnamese women.
