Besides, most of the streets also are decorated beautifully with colorful lights and flowers. During Tet, I spends more time on visiting my relatives, friends and colleagues. Especially, I give to each other the best wishes for the new year. Tet is an opportunity for children receive lucky money. There is a funny thing that people try to avoid argument or saying any bad things at Tet. I love Tet holiday!
Today is Sunday. I am doing my homework. My father is cleaning the floor. My mother is cooking in the kitchen. My grandma is reading a book about Uncle Ho. And my younger sister is playing toys. Today is Tuesday, and it is also a special day for me. This morning I started everything with a delicious breakfast from my mother. She cooked me noodle with pork, egg, and vegetables. I went to school with my best friend Trinh, and we just had enough time to talk about our favorite TV show last night. I had a Math test today, so I was a little bit worried when the class started. It turned out that I was able to do well on the test, and I felt so proud about myself for the rest of the day. In the afternoon, I came to Trinh’s house to have lunch with her because her parents rarely came home in the middle of the day. We made a perfect meal from the ingredients that her mother had bought in the morning. We took a quick nap before having some other classes at school. We had a Physical Education class; today we learn how to have a badminton match. Trinh and I were a team; and although our team failed totally, we had a great time playing outside with other friends. I thought everything was just being ordinary as usual, but I had no idea there was a big surprise that was waiting for me at home. When I first stepped into my house, I saw the entire family gathering around a box in the corner. It turned out that my father had brought home a puppy, and it was the most beautiful creature to me. After finished all of my homework, I ended the day with a cup of hot milk. Now the puppy is sleeping right next to me, and I have to turn off the light so she can sleep peacefully. Today is such a happy day.

Last summer, I had a wonderful vacation at My Khe beach – Da Nang. We traveled by plane to Da Nang which took us about 2 hours.
As soon as I arrived, I could see the large and beautiful sea. And at that moment, I wanted to run quickly to the sea, enjoy the clear blue water and fresh air. The weather in Da Nang was wonderful. There were many people there who swim, bathe, play soccer, windsurf; the children built sandcastles on the sea.
My family and I went back to the hotel to put the luggage. Then we ate seafood together. The service here makes me very satisfied. The food was very fresh and deliciously cooked. After eating and resting, we went to the sea. I was immersed in the cool water and the waves. It was great! I also get to meet foreigners. They were tourists and they are very friendly. In the evening we go for a walk at the beach and sing karaoke together on the sand.
We stayed in Danang for 3 days. I also went to souvenir shops to buy gifts for my friends. When I got back home I was very happy and a little bit regretful because I couldn’t stay longer. This was the best summer vacation I’ve ever had.

Everyday morning, I get up at 5:30. After brushing my teeth and washing my face, I usually have breakfast at 6:30 a.m. I go to work by motorbike and be there at about 7:15 a.m. It takes me about 15 minutes from my house to get to my school. I usually start my work at 7:30 a.m. I stop at 11:45 a.m for my lunch in my school office. In the afternoon, I finish my work at 5:30 p.m, then I go home. I always spend my time on cooking dinner for my small family and we usually have dinner at 7:30 p.m. After dinner, we often watch TV and play with our son. After that, I always prepare my lessons plan and go to bed at 11:00 pm. On weekends, I usually go out with my family or friends.

Lunar New Year Festival often falls between late January and early February; it is among the most important holidays in Vietnam. Officially, the festival includes the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd day in Lunar Calendar; however, Vietnamese people often spend nearly a month celebrating this special event. Tet Holiday gets its beginning marked with the first day in the Lunar Year; however, its preparation starts long before that. The 23rd day of the last Lunar month is East Day—a ritual worshiping Kitchen Gods (Tao Cong). It thought that each year on this day, these Gods go to heaven to tell Jade Emperor about all activities of households on earth. On New Year’s Eve, they return home to continue their duties as taking care of families. On New Year’s Day, the first ones who come to visit households—called first-foot—are very important and hence need to be well chosen, as they believed to hold in their hands the entire luck of the family in New Year (Tan Nien). After that, till the third day or even the fourth day of Tet, individuals meet relatives, friends, and colleagues, wishing them all kinds of good things happiness, health, and success.

In Tet holiday, the streets are very beautiful with green trees, flowers, and funny noisy. In every house, there are a big tree with many love flowers and plants. Any things else? Yes, there are a lot of delicious drinks, cakes and candies. In Tet holiday, children have lucky money from adults. It’s so great! We enjoy a happy Tet holiday every year. Welcome 2022! Our best occasion of the year is Lunar new year/ Tet. That's the time we say the last goodbye to 2021 and let the new year spread the happiness. This is the most glorious festival and also the first. In Vietnam we celebrate the new year's eve by cleaning and decorating the house with lights. After January fades, in the 1st of February, it is no longer as new year's eve anymore, it becomes Lunar new year. This festival is much bigger and more excellent. We can watch the glorious and colorful fireworks display in the evening. Before that, our tradition is children should pluck a leaf and plant it at home, as it is called fortune to wish and think of luckiness. Then they sat and wait for the fireworks. Next, they come home and recieve lucky money from adults. The main traditon food is Banh Chung and it is made from sky rice and meat. It is a green square cake was cut into 8 pieces. That's the value of Tet. Sadly, according to the news I read, as because of the covid-19- a small but dangerous creature- has exploded so we won't be able to watch fireworks.
