My favorite movie is cartoon “Tom and Jerry”. Tom is a cat with blue and white color. He keeps the house for a normal family and has a very free life. His job is chasing Jerry day by day. Jerry is a brown house mouse. He usually lives in the deep cave behind the wall. Although they hate each other so much and always find ways to hurt opponent but when Tom or Jerry falls into really dangerous situations, then both become another savior. The film is an endless confrontation between Tom and Jerry, bring plenty of laughter for the audiences. I love this film because when I watch it I feel very glad, feeling like returned to childhood.

Tet is the most well-known holiday in Vietnam. It is celebrated all over the country. It mostly goes on for 3 days: 1st, 2nd and 3rd of January - Lunar Calendar.
Before Tet, people who work far away from home go back to join their family for the holiday. People clean up their houses, decorate it with Mai and Dao blossom, as well as other bonsais.
On Tet holiday, people cook feasts with various dishes to show dedication to their ancestors. A dish of 5 different kinds of fruit is also put on the altar as a tradition.
People go to relatives' and friends' places to wish them good luck, prosperity and health. Children are always excited since they will get their "salary" - lucky money in the red envelope on this occasion.
Tet is the oppoturnity for everyone to gather with their family, to rest after a long hard-working year, to refresh and prepare for a brand new year of greatness and happiness.

*) Talk about ways to save energy:
As you know, our energy has limitation, so we must save energy because of the following ways. Firstly, we have to turn off the electric appliances when we do not use them. Secondly, by using bicycle or public transports instead of motorbikes or cars. Finally, we should not throw all used papers and bottles. I suggest collecting them to reuse and recycle. Therefore, if we follow the above ways, we will not only save money but also conserve the energy.
Talk about the main of transport in the future:
I believe that in 20 years the cars we drive will not be that different. I think most of the cars will move away from traditional fuel sources, but for the most part, will remain unchanged. I think the biggest problem we face isn't changing the vehicle itself, but the infrastructure that it depends on. I believe in the next century we will see a change in the road systems which will allow for greater density of vehicles, reducing the amount of space needed for roads and highways. Americans want a vehicle that can go anywhere, off road, on a race track, or down the freeway, and I believe in the future we will have multiple cars for different uses. One car for cruising around town, probably a fully electric vehicle, and another for commuting and urban driving. For those who still crave a little dirt under their tires, I think there will always be traditional Jeeps, trucks, etc. We will always have a large need for construction equipment, and I don't see those vehicles changing, other than by converting to cleaner fuels. I also believe that before 2050, self-driving cars will be coming on the market. If a 'track' system, or some system of guidance were implemented on major thoroughfares and in urban areas, a commuter could simply pull onto the freeway and switch to autopilot. This would allow cars to flow in a much more organized fashion, allowing higher speeds, safer roads, and fewer emissions caused by road congestion. The other thing I see increasing is the use of air travel. If aircraft could be made easy enough to fly by the average Joe, with a licensing system equivalent to the DMV, I believe more people would travel by air. Whatever happens, I believe or streets will be safer to drive on, and our cars will be more fun to ride in.

Although there are many festivals throughout a year, I like Mid- fall festival best because of the following reasons. Firstly, it happens in August. We can enjoy special cake named Banh Trung Thu with some delicious fruit and sweet. Secondly, we can wear marks and crowd to join the colorful parade on the streets. Thirdly, we can sing some songs about this festival such as "Ruoc den ong sao", "Dem sao".... Finally, we can play some games with our friends. Therefore, Mid- fall festival is my favourite festival.

My family often celebrate a lot of great festivals,but i the Mid-autum festival best.The Mid-Autumn Moon Festival is one of the two most popular festivals in Vietnam, and has been important to families in Vietnam for many years.It is held August,when the moon is brightest.This festival is celebrated for kids,they can have a wonderful time and join in so many interesting activities sing or dance.They will have a big feast with a lot of good foods.In this festival.my family often make moon cakes.It is a kind of traditional cake and so delicious.I think Mid-autum festival is very exciting.

People may have different hobbis such as listening to music, watching T.V, dancing. playing games orcollecting things. My hobby is to read books.I enjoy reading many types of books, but my favorite is detective. I reading stories about SherlockHolmes of author Conald Doyle. I often read books in the evening after I finish preparing things for thenext day’s work.When I have free time, I often go to bookstores or go to the library to look for new books.The good book can help me wide my knowlege or know about something new..Books help me relax a lot after days of hard work,too,.In my opinion,reading book is very useful and interesting.
1.Talk about traffic problem in your city.
Nowaday, traffic problem is the biggest problem that many people care about. In VN, I think the city where have the worst traffic is Ha noi.
The first problem is the traffic jam here. Why? In the rush hours of the day, there're too many people using the road. Last year, in 2013, many bridges was built so it happen less but in order to stop this, a kind of small car should be invented, people should go to works by buses instead of going by motorbikes...
The second one, as you know, the roads in VN is not as big and clean as the roads in the big countries. They're narrow, bumpy and some dirty so it’s really hard for the road users to drive safely. I think we should raise money to make the road in VN better and better.
But everyone knows that Vietnamese people are not respect and don’t follow the traffic rules. That’s the biggest reason for everything. They wear the helmet that not strong enough to keep they safe if the accident may happen, they ride too fast on the small roads… The traffic will never can be improve if they keep doing this.
At the end, I hope the traffic in VN will improve more.

Almost everyone is aware of the story between the miserable Tom and the mischievous mouse Jerry, and it also was part of my childhood memories. The film is about a life under the same roof between two enemies Tom and Jerry, and of course cat and mouse are always hard to get along with. Tom's owner is very afraid mouse, so she always asks Tom to catch the little mouse living in a cave that he digs on the wall. Tom is a quite lazy cat, and he often has to chase Tom so that he is not scolded by his owner or in exchange for a good meal. Sometimes, Jerry also makes mischievous jokes to tease Tom such as pull out his hair or steal his milk. Another character in the movie is the dog Spike, and he does not seem to like Tom at all. 3. Talk about a festival that you attended.
In 2014, I had chance to visit Lim Festival, a traditional festival in Vietnam where the famous Quan Ho folk songs are performed. This special festival was held on the thirteenth day of the first lunar month by local residents in Lim village, Bac Ninh province, Vietnam. Coming here on the festive days, I and thousands of visitors enjoyed the singing of traditional love duets (Quan Ho fork songs) performed by “lien anh” and “lien chi” (male and female Quan Ho singers) behind Lim pagoda, in Lim hill and on dragon boats on Lim rivers. Those singers wore traditional costumes and sang songs in pairs. There were strict rules for their performance in which the singers had to not only react quickly but also have a good understanding of traditional tunes as well as the historical and cultural features of the songs. Like other religious festivals, the Lim Festival went through all ritual stages, from the procession to the worshipping ceremony and other activities. I also watched a weaving competition among the village girls who wove and sang Quan Ho simultaneously. Other traditional games such as human chess-playing, cockfighting contest, rice-cooking contest, tug of war and wrestling were also held. Visiting this festival is a memorable experience to me.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe introduces a lot of amazing characters but when it’s all said and done , I think Iron Man is my all-time favorite superhero in the Marvel films. Iron Man appears in every Avengers movies and I believe he shines the most in the most recent one: Avengers: Endgame.
To put it simply, Iron Man is a rich billionaire who was an arrogant and entitled person until he went through a lot of hardship and started using his resources to protect Earth and to become a better person. He is extremely intelligent . He built an armor suit to combat with superhuman or aliens with superpower fairly! Can you believe it, he’s just a human!
One of the reasons I love this character is that he’s probably the only one whose characteristics changed for the better over the course of time. Other superheroes are basically just good guys from the start. Iron Man was selfish and nobody liked him but going through all the ups and downs, he turned into a lovable and kind person who ultimately sacrificed himself using the 6 infinity stones and the infinity gauntlet to save the entire universe from the edge of extinction . Another reason is that he has a sarcastic humor which I enjoy a lot.
The character of Iron Man has influenced me in many ways. He shows me that everyone can become a better person by putting aside their ego to strive for a greater good. He also teaches us all the value ofpatriotism and the importance of standing up for one’s own country. And of course, Iron man proves that there will always be light at the end of the tunnel if you keep on pushing .

I have an unusual hobby: carving eggshells. I started this hobby four years ago after getting a carved egg from my dad when he came back from Japan. It's amazing that something as fragile as an empty eggshell can be made into such a beautiful piece of art. I was so amazed that I learned how to carve them myself from the internet. I find carving eggshells a little difficult but so interesting and useful. The feeling of accomplishment when I finish a piece is absolutely awesome. This hobby also helps me be more patient and careful.

Van Mieu (The Temple of Literature) was constructed in 1070 during Ly Thanh Tong's dynasty. Its original purpose was to honor Confucius. In 1076, the first university of Vietnam called Quoc Tu Giam (The Imperial Academy), was established within this temple by Emperor Ly Nhan Tong. That's the reason why the complex has the name of Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam up to now. Initially, Quoc Tu Giam was the school for princes and children of royal families and then expanded in the following year to admit top students from around the country.
Nowadays, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam is one of the most famous tourist destinations for both Vietnamese people and foreigners. It's also a place to celebrate doctorates and high ranking scholars of Vietnam. One special thing about this place is that there are 82 Doctors' stone tablets. They are tombstones with names and origins of 1304 doctors placed on the backs of stone tortoises. If you come here at the beginning of the year or in May, when many important examinations take place, you will catch sights of numerous families and students who come and pray for luck.
Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam opens daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the entrance fee for each adult is 30,000 VND.
The reasons I like it so much are the grand scenery and the romantic content. The film is about the love story of Rose Dewitt Bukater and Jack Dawson. Jack was a free-spirited poor young man but he got a ticket for a luxurious ship, Titanic. Rose was from the American upper class and was engaged to a man. She was reluctant to marry him. She met Jack in Titanic and they fell deeply in love even there was a huge gap between them.
Titanic was headed to America from England. However, the ship crashed into an iceberg on the way. The side of it broke up and the ship was flooded. Not everyone could escape safely. Many people dead include Jack. Rose was survived because Jack helped her to climb on a boat. Jack sacrificed himself for Rose. Although It was only a classical sad love story, it encompassed a large range of emotions, laughter, rage, terror and the feeling of deep love. I was touched and especially appreciate the love between them. They both tried to save each other. It showed the power of love could do everything.
I think the movie had the exellent content which was based on a real story. The two main actor and actress Leonardo and Kate had an outstanding performance. Beside, the scenery and the stage properties really made me amazed. From the big ship to the small cushions at Rose’s room, they were all delicate. Last but not least, the great theme song “My heart will go on” by Celine Dion marked the end of the story. Even Jack leave Rose forever, her heart will keep going on.
This is the best movie I have ever watched. No wonder why Titanic already won 11 Academy Awards. I recommend that everyone should watch this movie at least once.

Vietnam is the country with many beautiful festivals. There are hundreds of festivals each year. Besides the Tet Holiday, the Mid-Autumn festival is one of the most famous festivals and it is a traditional celebration for Vietnamese children. The Mid-Autumn festival dates back to the Rice Civilization of the Red River delta, over 4,000 years ago. It is fantastic and charming with its history. It is held on the 15th day on the 8th lunar month (often in late September or early October) in the middle of autumn and it is celebrated for a whole day. On this day, the adults and the parents prepare many different foods - Moon cakes, candies, biscuits, jellies, and fruit, such as grapefruit, longan fruit, bananas, apples, mango, etc. All of them are designed with fun symbols, for example: dog, cat, mouse … Moon cakes are the specific cakes and are only on this festival. Moon cake, which is made from flavour, meat, egg, dried fruit, pumpkin’s seed, peanut, is so sweet and good tasting. Everyone sounds “How delicious Moon cakes are!” after tasting them and can’t say no with them. Moon cakes symbolise Luck, Happiness, Health and Wealth on the Mid-Autumn day. Besides that, the children are provided with many nice lanterns - star lanterns, flower lanterns and diverse funny masks such as clown mask, lion mask, prince or princess mask for the special performance in the evening of the full moon. Everywhere is fallen in the active and colourful air. The main point of the Mid-Autumn is that children use the beautiful lanterns, wear funny masks, perform fantastic lion dances, sing folklore songs in the house’s grounds or in the streets when the moon is rising. It is really an exciting show. The Mid-Autumn celebration is an opportunity for members of the family to visit together and share together everything in their year. The young generation express their gratitude to the old generation. The parents show their love for their children. Because the autumn is the time of the beginning of the new school year, so the adults and parents give gifts to the children. And the teenagers receive a lot of presents with many good luck wishes before the hard school time. The symbol PhD which is made from paper represents good wishes for success to pupils. For others, because the traditional time to have this festival is usually after harvesting the crops, it is as the congratulation for the full harvest. Nowadays, although some of the traditional toys have been replaced by modern toys, the meaning and the performance has been kept and developed.
