There is only one disease called common: the common cold. We call it the common cold because every year millions of people catch it.
Everybody knows the symptoms: a runny nose, a slight fever, coughing and sneezing. It is very unpleasant, but nobody knows a cure.
At the drugstore, there are usually shelves with cold "cures". These medicines don't cure a cold, but they do relieve the symptoms. Whatever you do, your cold will last for a few days and then disappear.
How can you help prevent a cold? Eat well, exercise and you will be fit and healthy.

A couple of months ago I went to the Greek island of Crete. We stayed in a town called Xania, which is on the coast in the north west of Crete. It is a really picturesque town with small cobbled streets, a large harbour and many ancient buildings. I went there with my husband Brendan for a one-week holiday.
We got there by various means of transport, taking a train to the airport, then a four-hour flight, followed by a twenty-minute taxi ride from the airport to where we were staying. The whole journey took around eight hours from door to door, which was a bit longer than we expected it to take, although we didn't have any major delays, thank goodness.
I enjoyed my stay there very much, as I had not had a holiday for ages and needed to switch off from working. We didn't do much sightseeing, although Xania itself has a long and fascinating history so went to the local museum in order to learn more about it. I spent a lot of time reading books and swimming in the sea, which I must admit was quite a lot colder than I thought it would be. I also enjoyed eating the delicious Cretan food, and walking around the ancient streets in the town.
One of the things I enjoyed the most was going to a restaurant called Xalkina, where they had live Cretan music every night. The musicians were playing instruments that I had never seen before, and I loved the style and tempo of the music they played. I would definitely like to go back to Crete one day, though next time I would probably make more effort to see the amazing sights of the rest of Crete.

My favorite school is a beautiful school. It is a big and large school. The school has many trees and there has enough stadiums and sporting yards for students to play. A school is a place where people learn and study. It is called a temple of knowledge.The name of my school is St.Thomas Academy. It is in New Delhi. It is one of the best schools in City. My school is three stories building having classes for nursery to 12th class students in science and commerce.There is a big playground for us to play and a small garden with sliding and swings. Our classrooms are very airyand lit. There are drawing room, music room, science laboratories, computer room and audio video rooms too. We have a big library full of books of different subjects. There are three thousand students in our school. Our principal Mr. Antony Mathew is very kind person. In our school, there are 90 teachers who teach us with great care and attention. Hi, I am learning at secondary schoo My school is very excellent having red colour three storey building. I like to go school on daily basis in the proper uniform. My class teacher is very kind and teaches us to follow school discipline. My school is located at very nice place and away from all the crowd and noise of the city. My school has two small green gardens near to the main gate where lots of colourful flower beds, grassy lawns, fruits trees and two beautiful showers.
My school has lots of facilities such as one computer lab, two science labs, one big library, one common reading room, one big playground, one nice stage and one stationary shop. My school has classes for nursery to 12th class students. My school has around fifty seven highly qualified teachers including men and women, 20 helpers, one principal and 10 gate keepers. My teacher teaches us very politely and makes us learn subjects in very creative and attractive ways.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.

Hello, everybody! Today I am here to present to you about Favorite TV shows. I very watching cartoons. And of all the film I have seen, “Grave of the fireflies” is one in the cartoons which I most. In Vietnamese it’s called is “Can ham đom đom” or “Mo đom đom”. It’s a tragic story about two childents in the war. It’s made from Japan by Ghibli studio, directed and written by Takahata Isao. It is based on a nover of Nosaka Akiyuki. It’s written as a apologize to his sister. With Japanese, this film is understand as a fable about the respect. Film is been in historical background at the end of the seconds world war from Japan. Film tells a painful story but moving to brothers sentiment of two orphanages : Seita and Setsuko. They lost mother after a fierce bombing of American air force to Kobe city while their father combat for Japanese navy. So Seita and Setsuko must to struggle to exist between the famine and the resistance to merciless of surrounding people (that have their kinship). They have to live in a shelter-pit and often eat frogs and lizards. At the end, Setsuko have to die for hunger, pictures depict painfulness and the death of little girl can be considered as the most mournful film pictures in the cartoon Japan history. When everybody, who had seen this film are asked, most of them said they cried, and that have me.That brings me to the end of my presentation. Many thanks for your attention!
I never really d New York until after I lived in Bangkok and got used to big-city life. Now, whenever it is I decide to move back to the United States, I will move to New York City. I lived there last summer and came back every other week between trips around the US. New York City is a place where dreams are made into reality, and there is always something to do, something to see, or a new place to eat. The city is so mulultural that when I feel I need to travel but I can’t, there’s an ethnic area of the city that will give me my fix. Moreover, it’s constantly stimulating. And as someone who can’t sit still very well, it’s perfect for me.

My first visit to Nha Trang, a coastal city in Vietnam, was three years ago. It was a pleasant and memorable trip.
Nha Trang, the Capital of Khanh Hoa province, has one of the most popular municipal beaches in all of Vietnam. In Nha Trang, nature beauties are so attractive. Waves crashing onto the cliffs; the soft sigh of the sea breeze; clean white sands and turquoise waters; it all makes for a marvelous landscapes. During my visit to Nha Trang, I used to get up early each morning to stroll along the beach – a chance of breathing in the fresh sea air and enjoy the sunrise across the water. One attraction that captivated me three years ago and still it does is the collection of small offshore islands. Hon Tre is the largest among the islands, and Monkey island is, as the name suggests, the home of hundreds of wild monkeys. Yen island is known for its swifts’ nests. Tri Nguyen island is the location of an outdoor aquarium housing more than 400 species of fish, crustaceans and other marine life.
That trip, I spent the whole day roaming the Ponaga Cham towers. These ancient Hindu temples were built from the 7th to 12th century. Many of the sandstone statues from this time still remain among the red brick towers, typical of Cham architecture.
Nha Trang is the city in harmony: its fine weather, favorite position and friendly people bring it a certain balance. Nha Trang is a perfect tourist destination. As I left, I was reminded of one reason I the place so much. I hope to have chance to come back.
I like badminton very much. There are two teams and each team can have one or two players. Therefore, there are two or four players. I play it with my sister every day. We need rackets, a shuttlecock and a net. I like badminton because it is fun and helps me keep fit.

The school grounds are currently lacking trees, especially trees with wide canopy that can shade us to live and play. I would like to suggest ideas for planting this tree. She is a tree when grown up will have wide canopy and many shade. Eucalyptus plants are also easier to find than other plants. Moreover, it is easy to grow and care for. Therefore, I suggest that we plant some more trees in the vacant positions on the school grounds. In addition to the tree, we plant a few phoenix trees. Phuong is not shaded with eagles, phoenix trees are attached to the school year, in the school yard there are some phoenix trees will make the scene more beautiful. Therefore, I suggest planting these two plants.
