One study showed that the average American teenager sends up to 60 texts a day. However, SMS has also been blamed for a decline in language ability and an increase in traffic accidents. A new sub-language has spread worldwide as texters find shortcuts to write their messages as quickly as possible using the fewest possible characters. Texting shorthand such as LOL (laugh out loud) and OMG (oh my god) has even entered the Oxford English Dictionary.

Điều gì sẽ giúp bạn sống lâu và hạnh phúc? Có kiếm được nhiều tiền không? Có phải là một công việc tuyệt vời mà bạn thích không? Có lẽ đó là sự nổi tiếng. Nếu bạn hỏi một người trẻ, nhiều người có thể cung cấp cho bạn một trong những câu trả lời. Hoặc có thể cả ba.

Một số nền văn hóa coi trọng công việc và tiền bạc hơn những nền văn hoá khác. Người Mỹ có thể bị ám ảnh bởi công việc và kiếm tiền. Họ có thể cảm thấy cần phải kiếm được nhiều tiền cho giáo dục, chăm sóc y tế, nhà cửa và ô tô. Nhưng nó không chỉ là về tiền. Đối với nhiều người Mỹ, giá trị bản thân liên quan đến thành công hoặc thất bại của chúng tôi. Nhiều người trong chúng ta dành phần lớn cuộc sống của chúng tôi làm việc - hy sinh các hoạt động khác.

: Tên tôi là Long và tôi là người Việt Nam. Tôi mười tuổi. Tôi sống ở thành phố Hồ Chí Minh ở phía Nam Việt Nam.
Tôi có một gia đình lớn với sáu người. Tôi có hai chị gái và một anh trai. Chị gái tôi lớn tuổi và anh trai tôi trẻ hơn tôi. Bố tôi là giáo viên tại một trường trung học. Anh ấy đã làm việc 35 năm trong lĩnh vực này và anh ấy là hình mẫu lớn nhất của tôi trong cuộc sống. Mẹ tôi là nội trợ. Cô ấy tốt và cô ấy rất giỏi nấu ăn. Tôi yêu gia đình của tôi rất nhiều.

Tôi là một người hào phóng và dễ gần nhưng khi đi làm tôi lại là một người cầu toàn. Tôi cũng là một người lạc quan và hướng ngoại nên tôi có nhiều bạn bè và các mối quan hệ xã hội khác. Năm năm kể từ bây giờ, tôi muốn trở thành người quản lý dự án của một dự án xây dựng. Là người quản lý dự án, mục tiêu chính của tôi là quản lý mọi người, đặt ngân sách và đưa ra quyết định các loại. Tôi cũng muốn nói tiếng Anh trôi chảy để tôi có thể làm việc với những người từ các quốc gia khác nhau.
