Television is a breakthrough invention of human, however, it has both advantages and drawbacks. First, take a look at its benefits. TV is a huge source of information with a wide variety news and instruction channels. You now can learn through TV and update news about what is happening in the world. Television also provides a huge knowledge of many fields including natural science, social science,… Besides, Television is a common type of entertainment thanks to a wide range of music TV programs, cartoons, reality shows or funny programs. On the other hand, television has some outstanding disadvantages. In fact, many people become addicted to Television and turn it on all day. Especially to children, they don’t want to go out to play with friends or focus on study. They just stick their eyes to the screen without wanting to leave. Some programs even contain violent and criminal content, which influence negatively on children. Also, spending hours watching TV is harmful to your eyesight and wasting your time. With that amount of time, you can do something more beneficial such as playing sports, doing physical exercises or learning new skills. In summary, nowadays, television is indispensable and its benefits outweigh its drawbacks.

Một số chương trình thậm chí còn chứa nội dung bạo lực và tội phạm, ảnh hưởng tiêu cực đến trẻ em. Đồng thời, dùng hàng giờ để xem TV có hại cho thị lực của bạn và lãng phí thời gian của bạn. Với khoảng thời gian đó, bạn có thể làm điều gì đó có lợi hơn như chơi thể thao, tập thể dục hoặc học các kỹ năng mới. Tóm lại, ngày nay, TV là không thể thiếu và lợi ích của nó lớn hơn những hạn chế của nó.

I arrived in Tokyo, Japan 2 days ago. The weather is really nice! Mai, my best friend and I are going to stay here for 7 days! We are staying in a small hotel in the center of the city. Living in the countryside has a lot of advantages, but also many disadvantages. As the advantage we can consider the fact that the country is less polluted and the traffic isn't so heavy. You are fit and you don't need to worry about your health condition, because in the countryside the air and water are so clean. In the country there are many plant species. There aren't any huge blocks of flats, modern skyscrapers or bothersome traffic jams. In the country you are free to admire the breathtaking landscapes such as huge meadows, peaceful hills or forests. You can enjoy walking in the forest and picking mushrooms or hunting. Another advantage is that you may easily build a big house and the garden, because charges for ground are much lower than in the suburbs. Moreover, living in the countryside is cheaper than it is in the city, so you probably may afford many other things, because the prices are lower. What is more, you can invite your friends to the barbecue organized in your garden. It would be great! The other positive side is the safety. In the rural area the crime rate is much lower. There aren't a lot of housebreaks and the possibility of burglary is also lower. In the countryside people usually and keep eyes on neighbour's estates. They always react when something strange is happening. Country life is very peaceful and silent. You will enjoy the feeling of peace.
However, there are a lot of positive aspects of living in the country side, there are also some disadvantages. Living in the country is slower. People don't need to hurry and have a lot of time. People in the country don't have to work so many hours as they do in the city. On the other hand, they don't earn so much money. Moreover, there aren't such interesting things to do during free time. The unemployment rate is also much higher than in the city. The problem may be also the communication. If you don't have your own car, you may have problem how to commute to work. The same problem concerns the access to the hospitals, schools, police stations and shops, which are usually located far from the village. Last of all, there are some dangers connected with country life such as heavy snowfall or rainfall.
To sum up, I think that living in the country may have a lot of advantages such as fresh air, breathtaking landscapes and comfort, but a lot of people decide to stay in the city, due to the fact that the life in the town is easier. The easy access to shops and other institutions are the great advantage.

Nowadays, more and more people choose to live in the city. In this essay, I will discuss about the advantages and disadvantages of living in the city.
It can't be denied that living in the city has many benefits. First of all, if we live in the city, we will have many chances get the developing science and technology. It means that we will have more job opportunities and broaden our knowledge more easily. Secondly, we will have many different ways to spend our free time. There are a lot of theatres, concerts and other kinds of entertainment. There is always a lot to do and visit There are a lot of possibilities of shopping. In various shopping centres and galleries you can buy whatever you want. What is more, a big city is a potential market for trading activities, so we can earn more money to provide our family a comfortable life
Besides advantages, living in the city brings to us a lot of disadvantages. Firstly, a problem about which everyone is worrying is environment. The increase of factories based on industrialization and modernization has severely polluted environment. Smoke from factories' chimneys not only pollutes the air but also makes people get many serious cancers. Sewage is bumped into rivers without being purged, which threatens underwater ecosystems. The second drawback of living in the city is society's vices such as drug addiction. Young people. especially the students, are easily spoiled by bad habits. If people use up all the money, they can't control themselves and even become robbers or murders. Moreover, a problem that many people living in the city have is heartlessness. With some people, it's not worth being worried and it has no effect on our life, people are too busy to care for any others. But if more and more people become heartless, the society will be worse, no one cares another one, they live boring lives, every purposes became meaningless, without love, sympathy and many other good things.
There are good things as well as bad thing of living in the city. However, I strongly believed that advantages outweigh disadvantages. If people know how to live and enjoy their life, living in the city is one of the most interesting things that people want to experience.
