Dear Linh,
How are you? Thanks for your letter. I am so happy because you always miss and think of me. I have just come back home from Hue. In this trip, I went to by train because it is cheap and safe . That was a really interesting trip. Hue is known for its beautiful imperial architecture and wonderful natural beauty, especially the length of history of Nguyen dynasty. I think that Hue is the only city in Vietnam that still has restored historic beauties with of walls, places, and royal tombs. Everything in Hue city make me impressed and surprised. Perfume rives is very poe and peaceful. It always make me feel comfortable and relaxing. In this trip, my father and I were on a boat in this river to listen to hue songs every night. The melody of Hue songs is always very special. I love Hue songs very much. The trips lasted 2 days. In the first day, we went to visit Tu Duc tombs. It is a large and bulky structure. We spent all day to discover this historical Structure. There are a lot of famous tomb in Hue but because os limited time we only visited Tu Duc tombs. The following day, we came to Thien Mu pagoda. This pagoda was built in the 14th century and is placed on Ha Khe hillock area near the perfume river. It is also known as Linh Mu pagoda. This is one of the most beautiful and acient architectural structures for reverence in Hue. After that, we went around the city by cyclo and enjoined some special food of hue. I had a lot of memories in this trip and I hope I will have more times to visit Hue in the future. And you? Have you ever visited Hue city? Let me about your impression about Hue.

I am very glad that you told me so many interesting things about England, and today it is my turn to tell you some things about my country – Vietnam. First, Vietnam is a tropical country, so the climate is hot all year, at least compared to England. In the North, you can still feel the differences between four seasons, but in the South there are only two seasons: the dry one and the rainy one. Although the hot weather is a bit uncomfortable, but in return we have many delicious fruits. If you have the opportunity to come here, I will buy some famous fruit in Vietnam such as mango, grapefruit, longan, and especially durian for you to enjoy. Second, Vietnamese people are very hospitable, and they will be very enthusias in helping foreigners although sometimes they cannot fully understand what those tourists are saying. You can easily find the ways to your desired destination by asking local people, but my advice is that you should not wander alone in a foreign country. Third, Vietnamese cuisine is something that no one can ignore when coming here, and many tourists come back to Vietnam because they love the food here. Every region has its own special food, and a good thing is that I know some places which have a lot of famous dishes across the country. If you think Vietnam is an interesting country, you can visit it at any time. I promise to take you to many places, and you will surely have a great time in Vietnam.

Mình rất vui khi bạn đã kể cho mình nghe nhiều điều thú vị về đất nước Anh, và hôm nay đến lượt mình kể cho bạn nghe một số điều về đất nước Việt Nam của mình. Điều đầu tiên, Việt Nam là một đất nước nhiệt đới nên hầu như khí hậu ở đây nóng quanh năm, ít nhất là so với nước Anh. Ở miền Bắc thì cậu vẫn cảm nhận được sự khác nhau của bốn mùa, tuy nhiên ở miền Nam chỉ có hai mùa chính là mùa nắng và mùa mưa. Tuy khí hậu nóng bức có phần hơi không được thoải mái, nhưng bù lại ở đây có các loại trái cây ngon tuyệt vời. Nếu cậu có dịp đến đây, tớ sẽ mua một số trái cây nổi tiếng ở Việt Nam như xoài, bưởi, nhãn, và đặc biệt là sầu riêng cho cậu thưởng thức. Thứ hai, người Việt Nam rất hiếu khách, và họ sẽ rất nhiệt tình trong việc giúp đỡ người nước ngoài dù đôi khi họ không hiểu những vị khách du lịch đó đang nói gì. Cậu có thể dễ dàng tìm được đường đến địa điểm mong muốn khi hỏi người dân địa phương, nhưng lời khuyên của tớ là cậu cũng không nên đi lang thang một mình ở một đất nước xa lạ. Thứ ba, ẩm thực Việt Nam là điều mà không ai có thể bỏ qua khi đến đây, và có rất nhiều khách du lịch quay trở lại Việt Nam vì họ yêu các món ăn ở đây. Mỗi vùng miền ở đây đều có những món ăn đặc sản, và một điều hay ho là tớ biết một số nơi có rất nhiều những món nổi tiếng trên khắp đất nước. Nếu cậu nghĩ Việt Nam là một đất nước thú vị, cậu có thể ghé thăm nơi đây bất kì lúc nào nhé. Tớ hứa sẽ dẫn cậu đi thật nhiều nơi, và cậu chắc chắn sẽ có một khoảng thời gian tuyệt vời ở Việt Nam.

Dear Trang,
How are you? I was very happy when I got a letter from you. I am really happy that you spent a wonderful summer holiday in Sa Pa. And now, I would like to tell you about my summer holiday. Last summer I visited Cua Lo beach with my parents. We went there by car. We stayed in Binh Minh hotel for a week.
In Cua Lo, we visited a lot of interesting places: Hon Ngu island, Nguyen Su Hoi temple. But the most exciting for me was visiting Hon Ngu island. It was fantastic and romantic.. Food in Cua Lo is extremely delicious. I especially felt excited with the courses from seafood such as "cua rang me, chao ngao or mam ruoc"
Cua Lo's people are very friendly and warm. So, my parents and I felt happy very comfortable like at home. Well, I told you everything about my holiday. Trang, what places do you want to visit on your next holiday? Why?
I hope to get the answer from you soon.

Dear Oanh,
Thank you very much for your letter which arrived a few days ago. It was lovely to hear from you. I am sorry, I haven't written for you such a long time because I studied hard to pass the final exam. However, I had a great weekend more than every when I went to live concerts last night with my friends. Now, I am writing to tell you how the wonderful concert is.
It is the beautiful concert I have ever taken part in with many people and the miracle of sound of piano. As you know, my pianist is Yiruma and in last concert I couldn't believe that he appeared in my eyes and gave me a big hug after his performance. I also listen a soothing music which is played by him and other professional musicians. Only when I heard his song from the stage I feel anythings around me seem to disappear and I can fly with many stars on the sky to forget all my fears which I suffered before. That is amazing.
Let's come back to my live concert. It is so cool and until now I can't forget my feeling about it. Do you often to go live concerts? What kind of music do you like listening to? Who is your favorite singer?
I am glad if you tell me about it in the next letter.

Dear Ly Tran Thi Huong,
English is becoming more and more important under the trend of globalization. However, after learning English for a few years, my English is not as good as I wish. In my opinion, there are several reasons. I spent little time learning English unless there are English examinations. I focused the most time and energy on preparing for passing the English exams.
I had few opportunities to practise speaking English. I can write English but I cannot speaking English well.
I think I should spend more time to study English and try to find oportunities to practise speaking with native speakers to improve my English listening nad speaking skills.
I firmly believe that I will improve my English by hard work and persistence in the future.

Are you ok ?. I will tell you about my house.
I am living in a house in Ninh Binh City. My house is very cozy and bright. There are 2 floors in my house. First floor, there is a living room, 1 bedroom, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom and 1 bathroom. The living room has a pretty durable wooden furniture, a 42-inch TV and a beautiful peacock clock. In the kitchen, there is a fridge and a large kitchen table. Above the kitchen table, there is a cupboard with dishes and dishes. I often help mom cook delicious meals for the family in it. The room where I usually study and rest is my bedroom. The bathroom is fitted with a shower and a very clean bathtub. The second floor has 2 bedrooms and a toilet. Every room has a large bed and in the corner there is a small table. My house is not big but it's the best for me.

Các chú bộ đội ở quần đảo Trường Sa kính mến !
Cháu xin tự giới thiệu về bản thân mình. Cháu tên là lê thị tú nguyên, năm nay vừa tròn 12 tuổi, học lớp 62, trường THCS đặng chánh kỉ. Các chú ơi, các chú có khỏe không! Ngoài đó các chú phải canh giữ biển đảo của Tổ quốc giữa đầy nắng và gió cháu thương các chú lắm. Các chú hãy cố lên, đứng vững đôi chân để bảo vệ Trường Sa - một phần máu thịt của đất nước hình chữ S.
Cũng sắp đến ngày 22-12, cháu lại nhớ đến mỗi ngày đến lớp lại nghe thầy giáo giảng bài và nói lên lòng biết ơn của chúng ta đối với các chú bộ đội đang ngày đêm canh giữ biển đảo Trường Sa. Qua những bài giảng trên lớp, trên tivi và trên báo chí ... đều ca ngợi lòng dũng cảm và kiên trì của các chú bộ đội ở quần đảo Trường Sa để bảo vệ một phần máu thịt của Việt Nam tránh khỏi một số nước đang nhòm ngó đến những nơi có nhiều khoáng sản, nhiều tài nguyên thiên nhiên quý giá như ở quần đảo Trường Sa. Mỗi ngày đến lớp cháu đều nhìn lên tấm bản đồ hình chữ S, dường như Trường Sa đã hiện ra trước mắt cháu là các chú bộ đội đang canh giữ biển đảo giữa cái tiếng xì xào của sóng biển. Cứ nhớ đến các chú bộ đội chịu nắng, chịu gió để bảo vệ Trường Sa, lòng cháu càng biết ơn vô hạn.
Các chú đã bảo vệ sự bình yên cho Tổ quốc, tránh các nước xâm lược, để các cháu ngồi dưới mái trường xã hội chủ nghĩa yên bình như ngày hôm nay. Cháu xin hứa với các chú làm tròn nhiệm vụ của người học sinh, là con ngoan trò giỏi. Để mai đây trở thành một người công dân chân chính để giống được như các chú bộ đội, lấy hết sức lực của mình để xây dựng, bảo vệ Tổ quốc càng giàu đẹp. Để khẳng định biển đảo Trường Sa thuộc lãnh thổ nước Việt Nam chúng ta.

Kính gửi các anh bộ đội Hải Quân!
Lời đầu thư, em muốn gửi lời hỏi thăm sức khoẻ đến các anh! Em xin giới thiệu: em là học sinh lớp 8/10, trường THCS Nguyễn Huệ, thành phố Đà Nẵng. Nhiều lần, em định viết thư gởi các anh nhưng rồi lại thôi vì sợ các anh chê cười những câu chữ vụng về, non nớt. Nhưng giờ thì em hết sợ rồi vì hôm qua, cô giáo dạy chúng em về biển đảo quê hương, về cuộc sống và cuộc chiến đấu thầm lặng của các anh nơi đầu sóng ngọn gió, em thương và tự hào về các anh nhiều lắm! Đêm nay, trong cái lạnh se se của thời tiết chuyển mùa, em ngồi viết thư cho các anh đây!
Các anh thân mến! Cuộc sống của các anh thiếu thốn vật chất nhiều lắm phải không ạ? Ở nơi cách đất liền hàng nghìn km, thì thứ quý nhất là nước ngọt. Em từng xem một vở kịch về các chiến sĩ Hoàng Sa và Trường Sa, biết rằng khi nấu cơm thì một phần bốn là nước ngọt, còn lại là nước biển, rồi mỗi người chỉ được phát một lít nước ngọt dùng trong sinh hoạt, em thấy đắng lòng quá!
Nhiều khi em thắc mắc không hiểu vì sao các anh lại chọn làm lính đảo? Điều gì thôi thúc các anh đến nơi xa xôi và đầy hiểm nguy ấy? Có chăng là lòng yêu nước thiết tha mà nồng cháy của các anh phải không ạ? Và nếu không có những trái tim yêu nước như các anh, làm sao chúng em có thể sống bình yên.
Em biết các anh rất thiếu thốn về vật chất nhưng lại giàu có về tình cảm và tinh thần. Chắc hẳn các anh nhớ nhà lắm nhỉ? Nhưng em biết sự yêu thương, đoàn kết đã giúp các anh trở thành đại gia đình. Và các anh hãy tin rằng đất liền luôn ngày đêm nhớ tới các anh! Bằng chứng là có rất nhiều người ủng hộ các chương trình thiết thực như xây dựng nhà giàn DK2, "Góp đá xây dựng Trường Sa",... Và em cũng xin góp một phần vào những việc làm đó để gởi tấm lòng mình đến các anh!.
Em tạm gác bút tại đây! Chúc các anh thật nhiều sức khỏe, luôn hoàn thành tốt công việc và sẽ mãi vững chãi, mãnh mẽ như những cây bàng vuông trên đảo. Em yêu mãi màu xanh áo hải quân.
