Vấn đề môi trường sống của con người trên trái đất đã và đang bị ô nhiễm là một vấn đề cấp bách đối với bất kì quốc gia nào. Vì nó gây ra những hiện tượng biến đổi khí hậu dẫn đến những thảm hoạ thiên tai khủng khiếp. Ở Việt Nam sự ô nhiễm môi trường là vẫn đề đáng báo động. Đây là một hiện tượng xấu, nhiều tác hại, cần nhanh chóng khắc phục.
Trước hết, ta cần hiểu môi trường là gì? Môi trường sống của con người là một khái niệm rộng. Nó bao gồm tất cả các yếu tố tự nhiên và vật chất nhân tạo bao quanh con người, có ảnh hưởng đến cuộc sống, sản xuất, sự tồn tại, phát triển của con người và mọi sinh vật trên trái đất. Môi trường có hai loại chính: đó là môi trường tự nhiên và môi trường xã hội. Môi trường tự nhiên bao gồm các thành phần tự nhiên như địa hình, địa chất, đất trồng, khí hậu, nước, sinh vật,… Môi trường xã hội là tổng thể các mối quan hệ giữa con người với con người, quan hệ cá nhân với cộng đồng thể hiện bằng luật pháp, thể chế, cam kết, quy định,…
Thực trạng ô nhiễm môi trường đang diễn ra rất nghiêm trọng.Ô nhiễm nguồn không khí: các nhà máy đã và đang thải ra môi trường không khí một nguồn cacbonnic khổng lồ, các loại axit, các loại khí gây hiệu ứng nhà kính, khói bụi xe hơi và các loại động cơ khác. Ô nhiễm nguồn nước: hiện nay thế giới và đặc biệt là Việt Nam đã bị ô nhiễm nguồn nước, nhu cầu về nước uống và nước sinh hoạt ở nhiều vùng miền đang bị thiếu nghiêm trọng, số lượng người được sử dụng nước sạch chiếm tỉ lệ không lớn. Các nguồn nước: ao, hồ, sông, suối, biển cả đại dương, nguồn nước ngầm, nước mưa,… Ô nhiễm nguồn đất: đất đai ngày càng bị thoái hoá, bị rửa trôi, rác thải công nghiệp, rác thải sinh hoạt, rác thải bệnh viện
Ô nhiễm môi trường gây ra nhiều tác hại nghiêm trọng nên cần có những biện pháp để ngăn chặn. Bản thân con người phải ý thức được những tác hại to lớn khi môi trường ô nhiễm. Hệ thống pháp lí, chế tài nghiêm minh để xử phạt thích đáng cho các cá nhân và tổ chức vi phạm. Nhà trường phối hợp với các ban ngành thường xuyên nhắc nhở, tuyên truyền, kiểm tra ý thức tự giác của mọi người về việc giữ gìn vệ sinh. Nên có những hình thức khiển trách đúng mức đối với những học sinh có thói quen vứt rác bừa bãi. Giáo dục ý thức cộng đồng về bảo vệ môi trường. Trong thời gian gần đây, chúng ta thường được nghe nói đến phong trào “Giờ Trái Đất” .Đó cũng là một trong những hoạt động thiết thực để góp phần bảo vệ môi trường. Và chúng ta cần phải thực hiện các giải pháp trên một cách đồng bộ, thường xuyên để khắc phục những hậu quả của sự ô nhiễm môi trường, tạo ra môi trường sống trong lành cho con người,
Tóm lại, ô nhiễm môi trường ở nước ta hiện nay là một vấn nạn gây hậu quả nghiêm trọng cần lên án và loại bỏ. Hãy bảo vệ môi trường. Bảo vệ môi trường là bảo vệ sự sống của mọi người, vì vậy mỗi người chúng ta cần có ý thức, góp phần chung tay xây dựng một môi trường xanh – sạch – đẹp.

Nowadays, a variety of environmental problems affect our entire world. As globalization continues and Earth’s natural processes, few societies are being left untouched by major environmental troubles.
First of all, some of the largest problems now affecting to the world, air pollution and hazardous waste. These issues can be avoided with the recycling, for example in order to reduce pollution, we can minimize the energy spends on industrial production. Consequently, the greenhouse emission can be reduced which are harmful for the environment and our health. Furthermore, most of the landfill sides are filled up with a lot of waste products that could have been recycled, especially waste materials that belong to non-biodegradable category which takes a long time to discompose. In this way, recycling enable proper usage of these waste products and saves space for landfill.
Plant more trees. This is easy, you know? Choose an open area/ground near your residence or workplace. Plant a tree every month, encourage your friends and colleagues to join you. Have more and more trees planted and there will come a day when you have a green stretch of land thanks to your effort.
Walk more, drive less. Now that's not very difficult, is it? Choose to walk short distances instead of taking your car every time. Walking to the gym, to work (if it's not very far), go walking to run errands. Or use a bicycle. Both cycling and walking are good exercises. And each time you avoid using your car, you are contributing to reducing air pollution. You are saving fuel, saving money and getting a good workout too.

An environment is the natural surroundings which helps human beings, animals and other living things to grow and develop naturally. But nowadays, our environment is disturbing in many different ways. Any type of disturbance in the nature’s balance affects the environment totally. It does not only ruin human lives but also affects on all living beings. We can save our environment with the little step taken by everyone on the earth. We should reduce the amount of waste, throwing wastes properly to its place only…and many other simple ways. Society is constantly developing, but it cannot be denied that the development brings us a lot of negative environmental issues. Almost all of us have faced environmental pollution, but that problem sometimes is not serious enough for us to actually pay attention. Climate change and the greenhouse effect are always the keywords in most of the environmental pollution topics, but they are usually too big and vague for everyone to understand. To put it down in a simpler way, environmental pollution is what surrounds us every day. Dust from traffic means, noise, rubbish on the streets, or the bad smell comes from rivers is pollution. There are many forms of pollution such as air pollution, soil, water, light or noise pollution. We live in pollution and get used to it so much that we do not even notice it. This not only affects the Earth in general, it also directly affects our health. Emissions are always one of the leading causes of respiratory illness, and climate change is indirectly causing natural disasters everywhere from all over the world. Developed countries are planning a lot remedies to control the seriousness of environmental pollution, but the most important thing is the awareness of each individual. Every one of us can contribute to decrease the level of pollution in our daily activities. If we all have a sense of protection for our environment, we can still develop without destroying the Earth.

Việc này không chỉ gây ra ảnh hưởng chung đến Trái đất, mà nó còn ảnh hưởng trực tiếp đến sức khỏe của chúng ta. Khí thải luôn là một trong những nguyên nhân hàng đầu gây ra các bệnh về đường hô hấp, và việc biến đổi khí hậu đang gián tiếp gây ra những thảm họa thiên nhiên ở khắp mọi nơi. Các nước phát triển đang triển khai rất nhiều kế hoạch để kiểm soát mức độ nghiêm trọng của ô nhiễm môi trường, nhưng điều quan trọng nhất vẫn là ý thức của mỗi cá nhân. Mỗi người trong chúng ta đều có thể góp phần giảm thiểu sự ô nhiễm bằng chính những hoạt động hằng ngày. Enviroment is neccessary thing for this life. Enviroment is the air we breath, the water people drink and is everything they need for their life. But now the most important thing for the life is being polluted. This pollution affects the health of all living things. Air is damaged by lorry fumes and car, and power stations create acid rain which can destroys entire lakes and forests. When fossil fuels: gas, oil and coal are burned to provide energy for cooking, lighting etc. they form polluting gases. Not only on land but also in the sea, oils spills pollute sea water and kill marine life; chemical waste from sewage works and factories, and artificial fertilisers from farmland, pollute river water, spreading disease, and killing wildlife. Everything is being caused by human’s existence. Humans create rubbish! Each household produces about one tonne of rubbish each year! Most of this is taken away by dustmen and burned in incinerators or buried in enormous landfill sites – both of these actions can be dangerous for our environment.
But only people can change and solve it. Pollution could be prevented by all thing we do each day. First people can use recycled paper to save trees. Second try to avoid using plastic. It is hard to recycle. People should refuse to use carrier bags. If people can not avoid buying plastic bags, they should use re-use plastic bags many times. Finally people must take their old clothes to charity shops. People also should save energy to protect environment. Switching off all electric things when they are not in use, walk or use a bicycle instead of car for short trips, keep healthy life and keep clean atmosphere.
Keep clean environment isn’t only all ways are mentioned before but also to protect natural resources. That is the way to conserver wild life. First we need to conserve the old forest, rainforest, build more safari and national park, and plant more trees to make place to live for wild animals. Second we need to prohibit hunters who hunt animals too many out of the law allowance.
Finally, we now know that enviroment is the most important thing for life and we know how to protect and use it scientifically. Everyday we invent and find more and more way to protect enviroment. I hope that in the future the earth will be cleaner.

Human and animal lead a healthy life depends on living environment. Environment indicates things around us including nature, air, water, atmosphere and living organism. The present situation of global environment is at risk, especially in developed countries. Generally, the earth becomes hotter, pollution is increasing, lacking of available space for people. The environment is being seriously destroyed by the rapidly changing of human. For instance, a large number of factories directly give off harmful chemical, raw wastewater in to nature. It leads to the decrease of natural creature living in forests and the extinction of endangered species. Pollution also causes many sophisticated diseases in human. Government should enforce law on protecting and preserving environment so that citizens are aware of their behavior. There are several effective ways to keep our living fresh. People can join hands to maintain a clean environment by planting more trees, not dropping litter as well as protecting nature. Beside, companies related to heavy industry should take their garbage under control. In fact, environment supplies several benefits as it brings good and material for people and habitant for wild animal. Protecting the ecosystem is not only individual’s duty, it is the key factor for developing society. Finally, natural world plays a crucial role in human life, it worth to be preserved.

I live in Son La, Vietnam. Habitat, some clean places, some heavily polluted. But the environment is currently severely polluted. Environmental pollution is also controlled by us, air pollution: Dust generated by industrial plants. Water pollution due to: chemical fertilizers and pesticides leach into groundwater and pond water; Domestic wastewater discharged from riverside residential areas causes serious pollution, affecting the health of people and living in the area. Thus, polluted environment is a threat to human life. We need to hit the alarm bell to wake up people, need to jointly protect the environment.

Many cities have a serious pollution problem. Motor vehicles, factories, and other sources create so much air pollution that it may hang in the air like dirty fog. Air pollution threatens the health of the people who live in cities. City wastes cause water pollution when they are poured into waterways. These wastes kill fish and make some areas unfit for swimming. In addition, many large cities have difficulty disposing of their garbage. The amount of garbage grows each year, but places to put it are quickly filling up.
Citizens, governments, industries, scientists, and business people must work together to gradually reduce pollution. For example, most cities have introduced recycling programs, which cut down on garbage and the space needed to store it. Residents spearate recyclable produces from garbage, and city governments provide drop-off cities or pick up the products from homes.

The pollution of water is an important problem today. Today, throughout moutain to city, almost rivers are not pure. They are dark, black, and foul and make the bad trouble with our lives. We need fresh air, we need fresh water. We need water to drink, to bath, to clean and wash. We very need water. Land like Dad, and water like Mom. Water smooth, transparent, clear, and it has 70% of all our body. We can not don't need water. Water help tree grow. Water can refresh and clear all things. But today, we only have water from water city company. The water we drink, is not fresh. And it must fire to hot as 100 degree. And then, we make it cool, so we can drink. In once upon a time, all rivers are fresh. And we can swim in that, it's very funny. In that rivers, we have fishes, too, and shrimp, and very much see animals. But now, with our rivers, there have no fish, or shrimp. Because there're too dirty. If we want to make our rivers revival, we need learn the way to not pour the pollution things to our rivers. It's very difficult, I know. But if we truely want our rivers have the blue, not black, or grown color, we need do all things from the begin. Nowadays, we have many polluted company, we always try to make pure water. And to have pure water, we must pay money. It's not cheap. And the last thing I want to talk with you, that we need to learn the way to not pour the dirty things to rivers. And we need save our water.

Environmental pollution has become a controversial issue that puts severe pressure on our rhythm of life. This puts bad long- term effects on vegetation and soil fertility. Serious attempt to relieve the effects of pollution and preserve the environment need to be made as soon as possible. Governments can monitor the exhaust purification process of large factories so that they can prevent dangerous exhaust from the environment. Moreover, stricter regulations and laws against forests exploitation can help preserve pristine environment. Individuals should be responsible and raise awareness for the protection of environment. In conclusion, pollution has increasingly become a threat to the globe, directly affects our life and for the sake of environment and all citizens around the world, we should work hand in hand to protect our friendly house- the earth.
