You know, we have one world that is divided in two. On one side is people living their life in luxury, and on the other side is people who can’t afford to live, they have no place to live, they have no food to eat and they have no clothes to wear. There are poor people who need much more to be able to live, while other people have enough to survive. As said, poor people have not enough clothes, food, education and health. To be poor means to be deprived economically, politically and socially. They have no possibilities. To help poor people is a good job. To care for poor people and to help them is a real task. The more you give to poor people, the more you give them strength and if you give them one chance or opportunity, you will see a change in your life. Another thing is to show the poor people love and respect. It is another way to help poor people. Here are five ways to help poor people:

Give them support: A good way to help poor people is to give them a hand or a hug. Give them moral support, show love, respect and make them aware that someone really cares about them. Give them economic support: Ordinary people can help poor people by giving economic support. We can help them to solve problem with living. For an example, they need to get meals for their family, a place to live or some clothes. Give them groceries: Give groceries to poor people. Clothes is a big help for poor people especially in the winter season. Education: Knowledge can help the poor people to stand on their own feet. To give them free education can help them to grow as individuals, help them to live a better life, help them to get a job, and to build a career. But it can also help the poor people to develop their skills.

Technology has been progressing at a great rate over the past few decades. I think that in a few centuries, the world will be very different.

Perhaps, in the year 2080, the world will be entirely computerized. Every household will have a mainframe which linked to all other systems. Adults don't have to go to work and children need not to go to school as everything can be done at home. Probably, by then, humans will not even have to take food in the form of meat, vegetables and rice to survice. Tablets containing the ideal proportion of the essential nutrients will be enough for us.

Robots could become so cheap that every household could afford a few of them. Life will be easy and comfortable will all the household chores being done by the robots. Visiting relatives during New Year will not be nessary any more. All that the Vietnamese need to do is switch on the mainframe and exchange greetings through the big screen. Children could still get their "ang pows", but not directly. The money will be credited to their bank accounts using the mainframe.

I think in the year 2080, people will use energy from nature like solar energy, wind, hydrogen instead of coal and oil.

All these changes are just my own idea of what life in the future could be like. I wonder if they will come true.

There are A number of methods to reduce my carbon footprint. I should strive to conserve energy first. Lighting is a significant energy cost for most households. If you are going to be spending more hours working from home, this cost could go up further. The best way to minimise this extra cost is to make sure you turn off your lights whenever you’re not using them. Secondly, it is lowering the carbon footprint. Cutting carbon emissions it to take control of our heating. We can reduce our carbon emissions and energy usage by making sure we’re not using more heating than we need. Heating controls are evolving rapidly and investing in modern, easy to use controls is a good way to make sure you’re only using heating when necessary. To sum up, reducing the carbon footprint is very necessary for all of us.

Predictions about the Cities of the Future

Cities are built to survive and prosper. Over the years, we have learned to transform our surroundings according to our needs. We have cut through mountains to make more land and created artificial islands to make skyscrapers. City planning, as an organized profession, has existed for less than a century. However, a considerable amount of evidence (both archaeological and historical) proves the existence of fully planned cities in ancient times. Over the years, humans have made some mistakes in terms of using an excessive amount of resources for cities. This gives rise to the question of how sustainable the cities of the future would be. We might be looking at smart cities in which street lights would only switch on when you are close by and traffic light would be eliminated by smart driving. The cities of the future would try to save our resources rather than deplete them. An example of an advanced city is Kansas. Plans are in place to make Kansas a smart futuristic city in the future. Planners are considering introducing sensors to monitor the water mains. Warning would be issued to city officials when the infrastructure requires repair or replacement. In this way, the city would never be at risk of having broken pipes. While the idea sounds fantastic, a large amount of rational critique has called this plan an oversold dream. Amy Glasmier is an urban planning professor at MIT. She is a smart city skeptic who believes that all the research and talk is great but gravely oversold.

A. the infrastructure requires no repair or replacement
